You may be an expert in your subject, but if your writing is incoherent or confusing, you risk having your work rejected. Let us help you become crystal clear.

Referencing and formatting
Referencing
Accurate referencing is critical in academic papers and reports to acknowledge your sources and avoid accusations of plagiarism. If you would like your references to be edited, simply include them in your word count. We will edit and format your references according to the university or journal style, search for and include any missing details and conduct a cross-check to ensure all in-text citations are included in the reference list and vice versa. Referencing styles include (but are not limited to) APA (6th and 7th editions), Harvard, AGLC, Chicago, MLA, IEEE and Vancouver.
Formatting
Formatting of your document is automatically included in the Standard and Premium services at no extra charge. We will format your document according to your university, journal or publication guidelines or to our house style.
Formatting includes the following:
- setting up page layout and margins for either electronic submission or printing (single- or double-sided)
- ensuring consistency of fonts, line spacing and indents
- ensuring consistency and correct numbering of headings
- ensuring correct pagination
- creating styles in the Styles menu (which you can then apply if you make any later changes to the document ensure consistency)
- creating an automatic table of contents, list of figures and list of tables
- correctly formatting, numbering and placing all figures and tables
- creating university-specific preliminary pages in the correct order and format for theses.
